Amber the 21st Birthday Girl

It was my eldest granddaughters 21st Birthday on the 26th of this mouth and I made this small Mini Album as a memento for her.
It was papered in Graphic 45 and Melissa Frances paper.
The 3 pictures are from when she was less than 1 year old to her 16th birthday.
Used lots of Prima flowers , lace and a small brass birdcage plus a chipboard Rocking Horse that was covered in Diamond dust and a prima swirl.

A new Direction for 2012

At the moment 12x12 LO's have taken a back seat. While cleaning out the loft I came across some old records and instead of throwing them out I decided to use them as my backing.

The picture is of my mum and I , I just love old black & white pictures.

25 years driving a Rolls Royce (Lorry)

This 12x12 is of my dad & his workmates when he worked for the famous ROLLS ROYCE in Crewe.
The lorry behind him was the lorry he drove for over 10 years.
This picture was done for his 25 years service award.
The papers are Bo Bunny Timepiece with lots of clocks & keys I've picked up over the years.

Spring is here, Time for Nesting

I really must stop doing these Birdboxs , at this moment in time I have 10 different ones all waiting for homes.

This one is made with Webster pages paper and a punched paper roof

Decorated with birds & lace .The clock is  so  the birds can tell when it is time to nest.

HAHA.

Villa d Este Rome

LAYERS-FLOWERS-PAINT
This is my take on the June challenge over on Merly Impressions.
I used a piece of Kaisercraft "The Lake House" paper that my partner Dave bought for me the other week.
I have layered up the photo and fountain, added flowers and painted the photo corner & lock in a rich gold paint. It doesn't photograph well but in the top left hand corner I have stenciled a branch + birdcage with white 3rd relief paint.I've also added stickles to the flowers & fountain.
The photo was taken in the beautiful garden of Villa d Este on our resent visit to Rome.

Fathers Day

My father died some time ago but since I've been crafting I remember him with something crafty. This is this years offering , Dad and I on holiday in Wales(mum took the photo).
I started by using a Martha Stewart punch on plain paper then added a sheet of London market paper which I distressed the edges.

which received an Honorable Mention

Close up of the flower I handmade using my Tim Holtz vagabond and the tattered florals die. I also added a small flower , a bird cage & a "D is for dad who keeps us safe" card.The fencing was  picked up from Ally Pally.

Close up of a chipboard bird and a Kaisercraft clock, the small Bo Bunny embellishment also picked up from Ally Pally.

Sewing box for Ambers Birthday

My grandaughter has a birthday coming up and is off to university in September so I have made her this little sewing box.
I picked  up the box at my fav car boot sale last week for 50p and have covered it in what I think is Kaiser Craft paper.

Picture rescued from an old Polaroid

This is my entry for the City Crafter Challenge 112. 

With the magic of Paint Shop Pro Dave has brought this Polaroid picture of my oldest daughter Joanna back to life.

I made this layout with Prima fairy belle collection.I just love this new Prima collection.

I copied and cut out the Ballerina fairies and butterflies and layered them across the page.

The wishing well and the flower are also from prima.

The Silver Jubilee Street Party

As you can see I'm a bit behind with my Jubilees.Yesterdays Jubilee Party in our village was a bit of a wash out so I went through my old pictures and found these pictures of my oldest daughter Joanna at the Queens Silver Jubilee street Party. I hope you like it.
The papers are papermania and the flowers i made with papermania paper and handmade with my tattered florals die, the bunting is london market by pink paislee.

I've also been looking for a small desk for my laptop so I have more crafting room on the table in the dinning room (CRAFT ROOM) but do not tell Dave.We have not had much luck so today we got Dave's mums old writing table out of the loft and converted it into a laptop table. It took most of the day but I'm very please with the out come.

Rome 12x12 Shadow Box

This is my first 12x12 L.O. of our last short break to Rome last month.I became an expert of taking pictures of Dave and I in front of all the main sites.This of course  is in front of the Colosseum.
The paper is Kaisercraft and the flowers are all Prima, as is the wooden clock face, the little statue of the Colosseum was bought from a gift shop in Rome.
